One-way by design
Every road carries traffic only in the direction you draw it. Return traffic needs another path.
Draw roads anywhere. Merge lanes together. Bridge over problems. Then release the cars and find out whether your beautiful highway actually works.
Highway Doodles gives you destinations and traffic demand. Everything between them is your problem.
Every road carries traffic only in the direction you draw it. Return traffic needs another path.
Draw into an existing road or bridge and it becomes part of the network. No predefined junctions required.
Push too many cars through a bad merge and queues form. Vehicles slow down and can stop entirely.
Efficient networks score better. Build beyond your material target if you need to, but every extra unit costs points.
Each map adds more traffic and fewer obvious answers.
Learn the one-way rules.
Build bridges across water.
Untangle busy crossings.
Design high-capacity merges.
Everything, everywhere.
Highway Doodles is a browser-based traffic puzzle game about planning efficient one-way road networks. Connect coloured traffic sources to their destinations, decide where lanes should merge, and keep congestion under control.
Bridges let you separate crossing traffic, four-lane roads increase capacity, and construction usage rewards compact solutions. There is no single correct layout: if every car reaches its destination, your strange little highway technically works.
